  <description>I seem to recall that I&apos;m not the only one on my flist attempting to brush up on French. I came across these delightful 80s videos which are perfect for filling that gap between learning vocab and actually being able to understand people talking to you:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;a href=&quot;http://www.learner.org/resources/series83.html&quot;&gt;http://www.learner.org/resources/series83.html&lt;/a&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Unfortunately, they only seem to be available to stream in the US and Canada. Also, there is a creepy mime. Also, I get the distinct impression I&apos;m going to come out of watching these sounding like a character in a French tv show from the 80s.
