Hey Hex-y!

So, I've finally contributed money to that great and noble company which we call Big Finish. I got two audios: Night Thoughts (which I didn't like much over-all, but had some great character moments) and Arrangements for War (which I liked quite a bit, except for the ending which made me scratch my head a bit; I couldn't figure out why the Doctor was willing to allow all of the collateral damage that the love story brought about; and why he seemed relatively unconcerned by said collateral, but meh. Was a good story and good character moments). I highly recommend.

Anyway, I'm back at work on my Seven-Ace-Hex jungle thriller thing, though I should really, really, REALLY be working on my WIPs (I did plug in a new 2000 words for Forever Tomorrow though, I'm just trying to get the conclusion sorted... I knew where I was going with that story, and then it all just sort of got away from me).

What I want to know is, do any of you think there'd be an audience for a story which contains: a spot-light stealing OC who swears a lot, a Big Finish character (Hex), an-absent-for-most-of-the-fic Doctor (Seven), a-half-dead-for-quite-a-bit companion (Ace),  and a combination of near-future politics (and by near I mean, fifty years hence, and in the DW universe), random historical stuff, archaeology, and aliens? And timey-wimey, lots of timey-wimey... It's also looking to be quite long, if I ever get it done that is. I've got around 6000 words and I'm just finishing up the second chapter. So, probably a doosey.

Also, is anyone familiar enough with Seven, Ace, and Hex to be willing to beta for them? I'm thinking this will be a relatively early on adventure to make up for the fact that I haven't heard most of their audios, but I'm afraid I'm getting the dialogue wrong and maybe contradicting established characterisation?

Mostly I'm just concerned people aren't going to stand for reading half a chapter of my OC stamping around swearing.
