Wish me luck, I'll need it...

Today I attended the information session for the post-grad program I'm hoping to get into. And according to said session they accept less than 20% of the people who apply. I knew it was difficult to get into but... O.o

So wish me luck. lots, and lots, and lots of luck.

Luck never hurts, but you are smart, hard-working and talented and you just need to show them that. Plus you have actual field experience, which not everyone may have. They would be lucky to get you!

Good luck, as everyone else has said (Napoleon once said he'd rather have a lucky general than a good one!), but I don't know if you'll need it. The figures sound daunting, but you'd be surprised how many not-very-suitable candidates apply for these sort of things; just try to stay positive and show them how intelligent, hardworking and gifted you are, and I'm sure the obvious enthusiasm for the subject that comes through whenever you mention it will shine through. :)

I bet you'll do wonderfully, but, since a little luck can't hurt, I'll keep my fingers crossed for you, too!
