Apparently there is a DVD release (but not for North America, alas, not that it would do me any good anyway with my DVD drive on the fritz). What do you think the odds are for itunes? Me thinks... low. Very low.

Still, two minutes of shirtless Sheriff of Nottingham is better than no minutes of shirtless Sheriff of Nottingham.

... I think I might have a problem. Oh dear.

it's also VERY good. as a series - it's very good, and quite a lot like blake's 7. it;s the best subsitute i've found as well for avon give me more avon why wont you give me more avon, world???

i bought an extra copy and sent it to corngold a while ago, and could do the same for you, if you like. the dvds did work. :D

It looks good! I was watching and thinking, "Man, this is B7 and you are Avon. Do not pretend you are anyone but Avon. I know this was done before Avon even existed, but you are playing a direct ancestor of Avon."

Alas, North America (though... I don't actually know where Corngold is located, so you may be saying here that the DVDs aren't region locked?), but the main trouble is my dodgy laptop which does horrible things lately when one puts any kind of media device into it.

california! that's why i brought it up. i don't know how she plays it, but she could probably tell you more if you wanted to know. a lot of DVD players nowadays don't seem to be region locked, though... so it may just be a dvd player....

Now, if I can just get my DVD drive working again this may be something to pursue... (in the meantime, damn but this is a difficult bit of television to get a hold of. There's only the four DVDs on Amazon.uk and no download or streaming links. Though everyone who HAS seen it says it's very good. I understand it's in some sort of copy-right legal fee mess, but still... I WANT TO GIVE YOU MONEY BBC! why won't they let me give them money?)

ETA: I've found the last two episodes. I'm not sure if this is better or worse than finding none.

i wouldn't watch the last two episodes first... the first ones are more fun for a start.

No, the point of no return was last night when I went to a friend's birthday, drank more than I ought to, and (as I dimly recalled) started pondering out loud how not!Avon got access to waxing during the Crusades period. Luckily, I don't think anyone heard me... O_o
