which should be finished?

Which one of these bunnies/ WIPs would you really, really like to see finished? Because the winner will be finished by the end of May. Hopefully. I've been assured that terrible, awful, pointy-pokey-stick and rotten waffles type things might happen to me if I don't finish... anyway, vote! also, html is ebil and should be taken out back and put out of its misery. One itty-bitty little cut link should NOT take me 20 minutes to get right... head!desk

Speaking of which, I had to vote for "Forever Tomorrow", which I really hope you do finish some time even if it isn't chosen by the poll - Delgado!Master teaming up with Martha (against her will)?! Sergeant Benton teaming up with Captain Jack?!! Three and the Brig in it too?!!! That decision is, as they say a no-brainer.

I voted, too. Very hard to decide. I was torn between the one that JJPOR mentions, but voted for the archaeology one with Seven, Ace and Hex. Because I did say I wanted to see your historical (ish) story! :-)

yes... I've got about three different false starts for that story on my hard drive, and I really REALLY want it to get finished (or at least past chapter 2) at some point, but, well...

My problem with historicals is that I want every detail to be accurate, but that isn't really possible, and when going with the DW historicals as references, it isn't really faithful to the inspirational material either.

The other problem with that one is my lack of Hex knowledge, but I've promised myself that if that one gets voted in I'll buy an audio with him in it to listen to while typing.

Finally, just the subject matter, there's one character in that story who's based on a real life person I know, and, well, he passed away recently, and (though I'm sure he'd just be amused as hell by the idea of being fic-i-fied) I keep sort of flinching back from writing those bits. I don't want to write him out, but I want it to be respectful, except he wasn't respectful of anything, at all, so... it's an interesting balance to strike. Whether it gets voted in or not I'm going to try to finish it this summr.

I hope you do, because it sounds really interesting and the world needs more Seven fic; as you say, the oldschool historicals never let facts get in the way of a good story, but I don't see why you can't make it as detailed and true to life as you want. Good luck with it, anyway.
