LOL at your banner!

That's one of my favorite ones too, CP. I keep imagining a conversation between them (something like):

Master: But we're friends

Doctor: No, we're not.

Master: Oh, come now, Doctor. Sometimes...

Doctor: *raised eyebrow* Not for sometime.

I'm not going to lie, it was hard choosing between them. Especially this and the last one with One looking so very distressed.

I'm so very glad you enjoyed them. I really tried to choose nice pictures that included the DW characters you enjoyed. I thought about other shows you like as well, but I can't remember who you liked from Life On Mars, Buffy, and the others.

Btw, I'm taking your advice and going to post them to my lj to share with more people. I suggest checking it out when I get the post up, since I'm going to be adding more icons at the very least. ;)

For LOM my favourite characters are Sam, Gene and Chris. For Buffy it would have to be Giles, Spike, Xander, Anya, Oz and Willow-before-she-went-weird - oh, and Tara. I really like Tara because I know what it feels like to think your destined to go mad. ;)

OH, that so cool! Tara and Xander are two of my favorite Buffy characters too. :D

I also liked Gene and Sam dynamic. I can't remember who Chris is at the moment, but I'll rewatch and see if I can find out. ;)

If you don't mind, I might do a few banners for your favorite characters from these shows to. I don't know if I'll do a 'semi friends only' banner, but I'll do something like it. I'll drop them in an email when I get them done. ;) Let's say as a make present for being so tardy on posting the next few parts of WW. ;)

Actually, if you could show me how to do one of those neat custome layouts that all the cool kids have...

Well, first I don't have any set layout. I do each from scratch, since size and style vary. Put generally, I do these with Photoshop, using layers and feather cutting the edges of the area of the image I want.

I'm not sure what programs you have at your fingertips at the moment. I know you said that GIMP wasn't working well for you. Does that have layer capabilities? What other programs do you have available either at home or on campus? Once I know that I can email/message you some general directions. :)

btw, how are those drabbles coming? I'm just curious to know if you need anymore inspirational carrots. :D

Mostly I don't understanding the coding side of it. Or what buttons you're supposed to press on lj to even get to the customization stage. Yes, I know I'm hopeless.

Ah, the drabbles. The prompt about Six getting locked out of his TARDIS has really bit me. You might even get full-scale fic out of that. I've never really written Six before, so it should be interesting...

In terms of livejournal customizations that not too hard. There's few specific livejournal pages that talk about it and even take you through some of the general steps. Let me bring those up and then, I'll message or email you with them and a few simple directions. ;)
