I dunno. I went and looked in the companions section - saw four pages on Martha - and found three were about Tom Baker playing Rasputin! Which, okay, you lot go off topic, I can deal with that. But I noticed someone had left a comment something along the lines of "Isn't this supposed to be about Martha?", and the response they got read, to me personally, like a bit of a slap.

That thread's from 2007. O.o You can't judge us from that. The site is four or so years old and had a few, ahem, changes of management style in its early days (actually, from what I understand, it didn't even start as a Who site but as the meeting point for a high school Age of Sail club somewhere in California) it has... evolved since then, and some of the older threads can be a bit... strange...

Anyway, the site as we know and love it started forming more in early 2008. Most of the current mods and members joined after that date and the place is quite different now. To get a better idea of how the site is run currently I'd recommend reading the 50 most recent or some newer threads.

Yes but the fact that no one's even *talked* about Martha for four years - given the many things her character's gone through - makes me think that I wouldn't fit in. I mean, yes, I do love loads of the other companions besides Martha. But she's my absolute favourite - and it seems no one else is that interested, so I'm not sure I'm interested in going there.
