Writer's Block: The final frontier
[Error: unknown template qotd]
The good ol' DbyA - home of cake!fic, of silly hats, of The Thread We Shall Not Speak About, of polite fan rants, late night c-box parties, Doctor vs Doctor and quite a bit of other random stuff.
But even if it had none of that, it would still be home.

Anyway, the site as we know and love it started forming more in early 2008. Most of the current mods and members joined after that date and the place is quite different now. To get a better idea of how the site is run currently I'd recommend reading the 50 most recent or some newer threads.

DbyA is wonderful, but what about Teaspoon? What about randomisers? What about Google? What about rail tickets and book sites? What about Ancestry?
Clearly, if this were being put into force, I would need severe counselling in order to cope.
*cough* Just when I was beginning to think I might be sane.
There has not been enough cake fic lately, has there?

I thought about google, but it would be rather useless without other website to glom onto, and I don't really count my email as part of the Internet (though I probably should).
Definitely not enough cake!fic. Which reminds me of the fact that I still haven't written proper cake!fic. I must remedy this immediately! *starts brainstorming*

Yes, good point about Google. Wikipedia - 8-o What about fanfic research? (I read all their entries on time travel for my Nat and Tilly AU. I couldn't find anything anywhere to hand in rl, book-wise.)
Yes, let's keep the internet. I feel the point of it might be defeated if there were only one website. It might attract a lot of traffic.
:-)
ICON TWINS!
O_o
...I can't even imagine what it would look like if all of the stupid on the Internet was forced to condense onto one website.
Re: ICON TWINS!
Exactly. The world needs to know!
Yeah. I think implosion would be the result.
