A vertical art bingo has been achieved for my h/c bingo card! Fair warning, there are some large images under those cuts. I think they all fit the prompts well, though Isolation is a bit surreal and abstract, and Homesickness probably only makes sense to me. I was thinking of a time when I was homesick while painting it, and a time in my life that I miss sometimes in a way that feels more like homesickness than nostalgia.

random late night fanart

DbyA friends have probably already seen this madness.

I'm not usually one for drawing fanart... well, aside from that picture of Three and those random Legolass portraits I did and lost years ago...

anyway, last night I was bored and felt the random urge to doodle, so, um, yeah. I didn't have any references while drawing so it turned into a kind of memory cartoon-y thing.

And then tonight I felt the random urge to scan the things and try to colour them. Anyway, 'nough said:

No one cares, but I made this pretty new icon (well the drawing bit in the middle) while being bored out of my skull at work. How productive I can be at times... technically we aren't supposed to doodle, or knit, or do anything except stare at the screen and be 'professional' right... it's not like you need your hands when the computer dials for you, and you don't need your hands to talk so...

But anyway... no clue what it's a picture of. I scanned and coloured it in gimp shop and this is the bizarre final product. I think it looks quite nice don't you?
