Oh, it's really good! Did you paint it in black and white like this, or did you then greyscale it? (I was just wondering, because it seems to me - ignorant as I am! - that it would be harder in monochrome. Either way, it's great and I'm impressed (again).

I did in monochrome. Which made it significantly easier, I think, because there were only two tubes of paint to deal with.

I suppose that's something, but it seems impressive to me to get all the shading and shifting 'colour' in there without any actual colour to work with. It's lovely, anyway.

I'll admit I kind of cheated and used some pearly nail polish in a few place to make shiny highlights.

I think someone a bit more skilled with colour could probably do a gorgeous job of it in full spectrum, but... I think it's good like this too.
