Bingo

A vertical art bingo has been achieved for my h/c bingo card! Fair warning, there are some large images under those cuts. I think they all fit the prompts well, though Isolation is a bit surreal and abstract, and Homesickness probably only makes sense to me. I was thinking of a time when I was homesick while painting it, and a time in my life that I miss sometimes in a way that feels more like homesickness than nostalgia.

Thank you! Arena is my favourite. I was trying something new and it turned out much better than expected.

I'm glad you think the sparrow!brambles are cute (as they are supposed to be!); my brother got really concerned by it and wanted to know why I was painting decapitated birds on sticks. O.o

Me: "I'm... not... they're bramble!birds... the birds are flowers... um... look! A distraction!"

Sparrow pops the new sensation in street food!(!).

I think you should have said to him it shows how dark his mind is and not yours.

Beautiful work! I really love all of them. They moved me and interested me. Apocalypse reminds me of a painting I used to stare at as a kid at home--a little apocayptic nostalgia for me now.

Glad you enjoy and got a bit of nice nostalgia out of it. Apocalypse is the first landscape I've done where I was actually looking at the landscape while painting, so I'm a bit proud of how it turned out. Fortunately the weather wasn't so abysmal while I was painting it! (The day before, on the other hand... I think we all half expected the world to end)
