I've just participated in a friending meme. A wonderful, wonderful thing, which means that there will be new people reading my boring old journal. Greetings new friends! Greetings old friends! I'd invite you all for a party at the Medusa Cascade, but K-9 has taken the TARDIS hostage.

What kind of date would each Doctor take you on and why?

Okay; Who character/Who character; who's your one and only OTP? And would you be comfortable writing fic about them?

Well, Ian/Barbara is a close contender, as is Doctor/Master... I think we both know the prize has to go to Doctor/Romana

And while I'm comfortable writing them, I'm not always comfortable posting it ;) you know of what I speak!

She's on a diet?

I find Ten rather easy to write. Probably because he has so many quirky speech patterns. Four comes pretty natural as well, which is odd I suppose, because he's supposed to be one of the harder ones to write. I can do Romana II but not Romana I. And Hex, of all characters, turned out to have a soft spot for my keyboard.

Then there are the ones I absolutely CANNOT write: One, for whatever reason, I cannot do him justice. And Donna, which annoys me, because I love her to bits.

Ah, well, in first year uni my watch broke. Alas. And I was a poor, stingy student who didn't want to make the hour-long trek to Walmart to buy a new one.

So I slipped my pink Mini-Mouse alarm clock into my pocket and well...

But those pockets were -HUGE- I'd have the clock in there, along with my wallet, some pens, random bits of paper, and whatever food I'd managed to nick off the cafeteria that day (purloined produce whoo!) But that's off-topic.

What you need to know is that I'm a bit of an insomniac, I've got a tendency for malapropisms, and caffeine makes me crrraaazzzyy:

So, stranger asks me for the time. Stranger sees me pull a giant pink alarm clock out of my pocket and goes WTF?! I go off on a sleep-deprived, caffeine-induced induced stutter trip:

It's my pocket in my clocket alarm! Pocketpotch! Patch! Clocketpatch!!

Something like that...

I think the stranger thought I was drunk. I wasn't really...

1. He'd probably just take me out for tea, I'd think. And then complain about the hi-jinks Susan's getting up to at school, or something. Granted, in his younger days it would more likely have been a picknick.

2. I don't know, but it would involve a lot of running, a lot of touching, and scuba-diving... for some reason.

3. Just a drive in Bessie.

4. He's already got a date, with Romana.

5. That would be an incredibly awkward date in the stands at a cricket match, and he wouldn't listen to me at all.

6. He's not listening either, he's too busy shouting at that green sluggish thing.

7. Chess. And mate.

8. Now that would be a real and proper romp through some historic city, showing off the sites and name-dropping every two seconds. We'd eat baguettes in the town square, and watch fireworks come dark. And then he'd probably get all kissy, being Eight.

9. See the first bit of Boom Town. When they're in the restaurant.

10. He also seems like a picknick Doctor. The Daleks are guarantied to show up and crash the party.

11. There's no evidence for it yet, but I'm going to say art gallery.

I've heard this story before but it still made me laugh until I started crying! XD

Hm... not sure if this is an appropriate question for a celebration of friendship, but...

How would you feel about co-writing a cakefic? ~~because mine is only halfbaked~~

If that question is too serious, you may opt for: Do you ever create new and strange foods/drinks? If there are any good ones, do you have a recipe?

I think attempts at Donna aren't bad. I, for one, have enjoyed them. In fact, I'm excited to see more of your writing with her. :)

I dunno, when writing her, I just feel like I can't catch all of her character correctly because she's so very complex. I've got the same problem with Ace actually.

(Rose on the other hand is easy as anything to write... O.o)

Oh, well, yes. Two loves his physical contact... Seven loves his chess... and Eight does like the occasion kiss. Though, I wonder how much of a kisser Eight really is.

I only know of him in the movie doing it.

Trust me if the 'conversation that never happened', 'the strange Three/Ten slash you unconsciously slipped into FT, and your obsession with Doctor/Master hasn't gotten to me.... there's nothin you can do that will make me like you less. In fact, if anything I'll love you even more. :D

herk227 and came up as a result of a random round robin on the 'spoon. With puppets. (and then it got deleted and it was sad)

I suppose it depends on how you think of a character. I find Rose easy, because I have an idea in my mind how to treat her (most likely different then you).

I have trouble writing Leela, classic Master, Five, Jamie, and Ben.

It probably has more to do with speech patterns and accents; namely, whether or not I can successfully reproduce said accent.
