I'm still not done with it yet - hence the friend's lock - but I'm glad you enjoyed, especially that line you quoted, because I really struggled with that one; trying to make it fit within the drabble conventions without being completely vague.
The orignal was something along the lines of: 'She feels cold without the warmth of fur; colder parted from rough wool.'
Anyway, I'm pecking away at finalizing it all now, and the finished version will probably go on the good ol' [url=http://www.whofic.com/viewuser.php?uid=2344] teaspoon [/url]
As for the mood, the episode it's based on is very much like that, and I think it would be hard to write ANYTHING based around Warrior's Gate without some of it wearing off.
