I really liked Danny's chat at the end, although I thought the still being angry bit will mean she'll be back next week or v. soon.
Yes, more optimism in general would be nice! But "dark" themes are more favoured and seen as better just because it's not happy. I believe there should be dark and light....goes off and grumbles about telly today and how hard it is to make a good comedy song....
