Two mistakes:
She can't breath. She's comfortable in the blood warm pool. She's safe – except she can't breath, and she's choking on her own delusions. She'll have to surface soon or be lost forever.
Both of those should be "breathe".
And:
Maybe not. Dreadfully sorry about all this, but you are a bit balmy at the moment.
Now, I could be wrong because my Brit-speak isn't the greatest, but I'm fairly sure it's spelled "barmy", "balmy" meaning something else entirely.
Otherwise, this is just getting better and better! I'm off to read the next bit.
