I wasn't keen on Nardole's joke, but Bill asking for the loo after having a run and a fright struck me as exactly what I'd probably do in that situation.
I really hope that's not his role. I don't think I want him around next series (but who know, maybe I'll grow to like him over time), but I would like his character to have some purpose/plot reason for hanging around.
