LOL - some unfair questions there from me, maybe! Still, though; you've thought of at least three archaeological moments already; I'll bet there are at least five! At least! ;D
One Three outfit I found awesome for all of the wrong reasons was that _horrible_ orange velvet smoking jacket; I just can't quite remember which story it was I saw him in it...Day of the Daleks, maybe? Agreed that the hat in Spearhead is amazing and he should have kept it; he really should.
Couldn't agree more with your selection of companions there; I think Lalla Ward maybe couldn't do _certain things_ as an actress (mainly looking threatened/scared), but she could do snooty/superior/childlike-alien-genius just fine. And okay, she couldn't do "angry" per se, but she could do McCoy-tastic crazy/angry!!! like, well, like McCoy: "You despicable worm!!!" XD I am coming around to Romana I, though; I agree that any distinction between them is meaningless, to a _true_ fan! ;D
Probably best not to mention the Brig's tight beige trousers, although I'm sure we've probably all noticed them...
And Ace; you have a point there, with Ace. She did seem to have a lot of "special friends" during her adventures, quite regardless of gender. Right on, man, as Cartmel and co might have said back in the late 80s. ;D
