clocketpatch: A small, innocent-looking red alarm clock, stuck forever at 10 to 7. (Master)

It wasn't an obvious one to me either! I was just doing a bit of brain storming one day, and I came up with that lovely first sentence:

One blue day(both literally and metaphorically; the sky was very blue) the Doctor realized that he was, in fact, better at attracting dangerous aliens than defeating them, and that his continued presence on Earth was beginning to endanger his favourite planet

Of course, from there on in it's history; Three discovers that his falling out with the Master has given him an aura of negative energy, leading to his resolution to make up with his old friend. I though that was bit far-out at first, but you know, Who is at its best when it can successfully mix science with the paranormal, and Pertwee's era had all of those Buddhist undertones towards the end, so I think it worked. That one scene where the Master faces his own burden of karma; I don't think I've ever written anything so emotional. It pretty much drove me to drink after, I was so distraut.

Everything seemed so anti-climactic after that though. I'm glad you liked my attempts to spice it up with the Monk and Torchwood, but doesn't it feel, I don't know, a bit trying too hard? I'm very much stalled on the latest chapter as a result. Damn these WIPs!
