So sorry to hear this. However, your reasons for not spaying your kitties years ago were valid, and you did the exact right thing by not ignoring the report of blood spotting. You took Pebbles to the vet as soon as you heard about it, and not everyone would have done that, so give yourself credit for being a good cat mom, because you are. I know it's scary, but as she wasn't showing obvious signs of distress -- which she wasn't, or the vet would have picked up on it before the spaying -- and the vet says it was caught in time, I think the odds are that everything will turn out fine. I will definitely be sending good thoughts her way, and will get my kitties to do the same. *hugs*
