I know. It's probably a good thing the other girl seems to be infertile :) She lays tiny squishy eggs that hardly ever cause a problem. The budgie in question seems to be doing fine now, climbing all over things - just like your cat :) Sabrina had to let her out of the isolation cage eventually because her mate was going mental being able to hear her but not see her - they have this adorable but heart-rending way of calling for each other, it's a bit like a baby's cry in that it's very difficult to ignore. I'm glad the six other budgies are boys - even if one of them is a bit confused about the fact, at least trans-girl birds can't lay eggs :)
