Open up your "Manage Stories" page on Teaspoon and unfold all the chapters. For the purposes of this meme, disregard first chapters of multichapter fics. [Teaspoon counts any hits on the TOC as a hit on the first chapter.]

1. Total number of completed fics on Teaspoon:

29, two of which are WIPs. One of which should be finished in the coming weeks. There are also the two deleted stories that I don’t like the talk about, because I’m kind of embarrassed over the whole affair… I took them off to complete and do a full story edit… and then I managed to lose the files.

So, um, anyone who following that Ten/Rose witch hunt thing from a few years back, I am honestly very, very sorry.

2. Highest hit count: One-shot / Chapter of a multichapter

"A few" - 1651
Right, some explanation needed; for a sort while, because of the “A beginning, this was coming up as the first story when you clicked on titles, or on Ten in the categories. It’s not anymore I don’t think, and that wasn’t intentional, but I think it got more hits than it might have otherwise because of it. Also, it’s one of the first stories I posted to the Teaspoon (and it’s been up longer than the first story I did post, but that’s a convulted story of random)

3. Lowest hit count: One-shot / Chapter of a multichapter (not counting WIPs)

Only 28 for The Moving Finger Writes ~ John Smith and I think that most of those are me checking the formatting…

4. Most reviews: One-shot / Multichapter

57 for Somnambulists which is a finished multi-chapter on the Doctor’s origins. It’s also my fic baby, and I shameless try to force people to read it at random intervals.

5. Fic with the number of reviews that bums you out the most (hey, let's exorcise those demons of self-doubt!)

No reviews at all for poor The Moving Finger Writes ~ John Smith in Collected Mini-Works. There are a few in there which are reviewless, but let’s be honest; the most of them have got some sort of feedback on lj or elsewhere, and they are buried at the end of several chapters of random drabbles and what not. Even for authors I really like, I sometimes get bored going through drabble after drabble after drabble. In any case, I’ve been blessed with wonderful reviews and see nothing to complain about. *hugs reviewers* You make me feel so loved.

1708 – I try to review everything that I read simply because I love getting reviews myself and know how much other authors must enjoy the encouragement. Alas, occasionally I’m in a rush and run off without doing so because I’m also loath to leave the generic “did you actually read my story or what?” type of review you sometimes get… though I slip into that occasionally.
Particularly distressing is when I’m cruising through the archives, read a great story, think “review time”, and then realise that I’ve already left one saying “how memorable” the story is. *coughs and splutters in nervous embarrassment* It’s not a lie though. If I say that I liked a story then I liked it. If I say that I’m lost for words, I generally am. I

I have a feeling I'm guilty of not reviewing a couple of your fics. Most of the ones I don't review are through how to forumlate a half-way positive response (*cough*) but yours was for "That was a really, really good story, but now you've left me a depressed, tearful, angsty wreck, in need of heading off and writing a Happy Story to cheer myself up." And at the time I thought that might not sound like a compliment somehow.

(I'm thinking of your one where you [cut for spoilers] the Brigadier (sorry, I've favrourited it, but the title has slipped my mind) and your story Home, but there may be one or two others. (Or maybe I did review them and I've forgotten!!)

oh, THAT story, yes, that one grabbed me by the teeth, wouldn't let go, and turned me into a tearful, depressed, angsty wreck too, in dire need of reading or writing something happy to make me feel like less of an awful person for doing... that. *wibbles*

It's like The Man in the Iron Mask - the ending of it, I mean. Yes, one day it'll happen, but you don't go and write it down where people can read it. ;-)

It was, however, a very good story, and I put it in my favourites. I just don't think I ever managed to formulate a proper review for it due to the wibbliness-inducing effect.

So, this is how evil I am: I decided that I would do a Sarah/Harry story that fitted with everything on TV and, um, yes, well, I'm sure you can work out what that involved, given the context of this thread. It tied in with the Brig leaving UNIT (and nearly went to a disturbing Sarah/Everybody at UNIT place for a moment, which was amusing). The trouble is this is What Happened in my head even though I stopped it before I got any further.

You see, I know how to distract from my villainy. :-D

And I exaggerate of course, but it would have been ridiculously easy to have a sort of serial Sarah/UNIT shippage (Sarah/Harry, Sarah/Brig, Sarah/Benton). Which made me blink, too. Then I pulled myself together, glared at the Evil Story and went to write something else. ;-)

Yes, but there are a lot of plot bunnies sitting around currently. The problem with the evil story is that (and I have found the 4 1/2 pages of it...) I really don't recall some of the plotty bits.

If I ever post a sort of end-of-an-era UNIT story, I will hold you two entirely to blame! :lol:

I had a subtle sub-plot to that end in my Three-Nine fic Home but I'm not so sure how it came across. Nine basically predicts Harry's death, and his reasons for leaving the TARDIS (and writing it made me feel like a heel; why, oh WHY do I apparently have an obsession with writing angsty character death fics???)

Oh, now, don't be hard on yourself. It's one of those things. I remember finding Home very very good, but dark, disturbing and angsty and having forgotten the details, that may well be a reason why!!

Maybe this time I'll write the angst and you can do the fluff? ;-)

I've been looking at your page at the Teaspoon, Clocket, and I realise there's so much really interesting-looking stuff there that I haven't read, let alone reviewed. Which makes me a little ashamed as you're always so kind to my fics when I post them; I am a _bad_ fic-buddy I guess :) - I will have to make an effort to remedy this situation soon.
