I decided to go super literal for the mind games prompt and created this: http://games.usvsth3m.com/2048/blakes7-edition/

Spoilers abound. Also, I think that using .gifs has made it significantly harder than the original. Because I'm evil.

Pure genius. What a great idea to have gifs instead of static images. Gorgeous tiles, too! By far the most fun I've ever had playing this game.

Thank you! I think that the fact that you actually played to completion is the biggest complement possible, because it does take awhile even if you know the strategy.

I can't take total credit for the idea of .gifs because http://games.usvsth3m.com/2048/doctor-who--edition-3/ got there first and uses actual moving pictures instead of my weird little slide shows. But doing that would've taken too long (and some characters would've been left out) so this compromise was reached. I'm very glad you enjoyed it.

i think the changing pictures make it more difficult - because you're like, woah, was that blake or what? what's it matching too???

good choice of prompt fill! i am crap at this game and have no intention of becoming any better, but i played a few levels and enjoyed the idea of it :)

They all change at the same time so it's not impossible, but yeah, definitely harder than the regular version. I was surprised (and impressed!) when elviaprose beat it so fast, because I was having trouble matching the tiles and I created them!

I'll probably be posting the tiles separately as an icon set at some point (even though I think that half of them are too big to be used as icons on lj).
