I think the whole set of characters might have been designed to be your favourites. You got a Press Gang character in your other prompt too whenever I get around to finishing it.

... I ended up watching the whole series rather ridiculously fast. The last episode had me going for a bit, well, screaming at the laptop screen actually, and wondering if Steven Moffat was about to really end a children's show on that note.
