Still, in all the apocalyptic fandom explosions that are going on right now, I just wanted to say:

I'm still feeling mixed. MOre like after Christmas day, when you've opened your presents, and you come home from dinner somewhere, only to find them under the tree, unwrapped, and the Christmas tree's dark.

I really, really hope so. His performance was just eerily reminiscent of Tennant's in that Children In Need mini-sketch pre-'The Christmas Invasion' thing for me, and it's shaken my optimism somewhat.

The trailer has alleviated my concerns. Slightly.

Heh, yes! That was the bit that I got excited over. Not really having actually seen him in anything other than that DW Confidential last Christmas (although what I knew of him was promising), and having dsperately avoided any spoilers, I had no idea what to expect - but now I am so excited for S5. And just so relieved - the worst thing that could happen in DW is to take the new leading man in dislike. Well, it's not going to happen yet.

I'm very excited about MS too now! He really reminds me of PT in those few minutes. I can't wait to see him in full action.
