Heh. I haven't finished, but I realised I had got up to 60 again, so I thought I'd post what I'd done so far before things got out of hand.

I did a rather epic three-part Carry On Cowboy post while you were away and decided not to let my icon-making (or practising) build up like that again!

Although the commentary has Peter, Nicola, Mark and the director Fiona Cumming and is as entertaining as ever with Peter commentaries.

e.g.:

Peter (on seeing Peri in bikini): Whoa. Who's this babe?
Mark: You didn't say that when I walked on in shorts.
Peter: Oh, I'm sorry...

And Peter on how he can't bear seeing Colin Baker take over from him "...sitting up there, looking smug...!", and Mark suddenly realising that Turlough didn't die...:

Mark: I could come back!
Peter: Yes, Turlough went off and spent a few years making nature documentaries and now he's decided to come back...

I'm sorry but Five DVDs win for the commentaries, every time.

Don't they just?!? I've got Warriors of the Deep, which is probably one of the worst Who episodes ever, but the commentary makes that disk comedy gold.

I want the Enlightenment Trilogy... and Planet of Five...

Yes, and Warriors is one of the more restrained!
The ones you mention are all good fun, but suffer from a lack of Janet! Arc of Infinity is the best commentary ever, (Colin and Peter!! Peter and sarah smugness! Sarah and Janet on Nyssa/Damon. Heh.) closely followed by Black Orchid ("So, Pete, did you shave especially, or are you just not very hairy?" :lol: Janet ought to be on any commentary that needs livening up...) and Earthshock ("If you lot don't watch out, I'll start my fashion commentary again, and, trust me, none of us will come off well...). And Castrovalva isn't quite as funny, but Chrs Bidmead confesses his massive crush on Janet, and Peter talks about Doctor/Companion love affairs with Janet, winding up blithely saying, "Ours was just off-screen..." without realising that he just made me fall off my sofa in shock. Because, of course, he didn't mean that... :lol:) And Logopolis where Janet asks Tom why he was so angry when he was making it...

...And I'm coming over all insane here, aren't i? Erm...

Not remotely! There is something about Peter and Janet taking the piss out of everything that is just far more amusing than it really has any rights to be.
