Well, I've just activated my DreamWidth account. As of yet I have no posts, no icons, and no invite codes. This weekend I'm going to explore the wonders of content-import and cross-posting.
I played around with the import feature (just for my personal info, I haven't started on entries yet, and I'm hoping I won't have to, I'd rather stay here unless I'm forced to up and move over this) and it works like a charm.
I am wondering what the etiquette will be for importing icons. How do you credit someone from LJ for them? Not everyone keeps the same name on DW and I honestly don't feel like tracking down individuals and asking them out of the blue if they have a DW account name they would like to be creditted under.
